In this premier version of VirtuaLights, the main user interface features eight virtual fixtures: Four full-color, two white only and two text generators. These are arranged in two pages: Page-1 fixtures 1-4, Page-2 fixtures 5-8. |

Fixtures 1-4 share these control details: On/Off, Lock, ID, color, file-mask, shape, size and brightness |

Fixtures 5,6 share these control details: On/Off, Lock, ID, color-temperature, size and brightness |

Fixtures 7,8, the Text Generatoirs, allow for color-matching, black on white or white on black, realtime typing, on/off and full font modifying. |

External control of the fixtures is configured on this page. Currently, each fixture occupies eight contiguous DMX channels. Each fixture is assigned a starting channel, then occupies the next seven channels. Any starting channel can be selected as long as the next seven channels are available and not used elsewhere in the DMX universe.

The Behringer BCF2000 contoller has been tested and can serve as a human-interface-device along with DMX control. |

One of the unique features of VirtuaLights is the ability to select graphic images (.png, .jpg, .gif, etc.) as the content of the fixture. Making use of this capability, VirtuaLights is equipped with a screen-capture function that saves a selected display's output as a .png. If selected, this allows a single fixture to project all other fixtures as a single element, thereby multiplying the number of virtual fixtures. |
